If you support Obama's 90% tax on bonuses

Hi para...I don't support taxes on the bonuses. I was appalled to hear that the people who received the bonuses were being harassed. I thought we weren't using the tax code for personal or political retribution? So now the tax laws are vindictive laws? How is this freedom?

I support the idea of taking back that money because it was not used in the way it was intended. I would have thought that the money would have been given with contingencies regarding how the money was to be spent. Apparently that was not the case. I can't say I agree 100% with 90% tax as a way to get the money back, but I don't agree with the bonuses. I haven't heard how AIG justified paying out those bonuses, have they explained it? I don't resent the rights and freedoms of the wealthy, what I do resent is when SOME wealthy people make their money off of hard working people and they take advantage of those people to the point of abusing them and then they have the nerve to look down on them for not managing their money properly. That's what I resent.

Mainly, I thought that tax applied to the folks at the banks they bailed out...and that the bonuses came from, or were enabled by, government money (as they shouldn't have been in the first place) -- SO, the only reason I said "good" was 'cause, since they're all in bed together with this economic BS...it's lovely that they'll hurt eachother equally. You know I try not to support these kinds of things, xD I tend to expect the worst...

The crickets are deafening aren't they ted?
