I am a student and in the month of march, the projects start to flood. Last week, I managed to be awake for 48 hours straight I had to finish like 5 programs my teacher was assigning me. I just drank a LOT of coffee and ate a LOT. It was the weirdest experience, I felt like I was always hungry, then I have this head aches. And Sometimes, I just stay quite and stare blankly for a long time. I was worried i would get crazy so I decided to sleep the third day, and I slept for 14 hours straight. It was so relaxing and when I woke up, i felt energized and back to normal. Hooh! How bout you, what was the longest time you stayed awake? and why?

Well i have experienced this weird situation very recently. i had to board 2 flights from Delhi to Switzerland and hence we had a stop at Dubai on the same day and it is here that i got absolutely no chance to sleep and had to stay awake for approximately 48 hours. It was very much exhausting and tiring. What say?

As I commented over here, http://www.mylot.com/w/discussions/1713466.aspx#1_16171065, I haven't even been able to stay awake for 24 hours, much more 48! I think drinking coffee would help me to stay awake for 24 hours, but after hour 28, I wouldn't be surprised if I fell asleep walking! When I'm sleepy and I go an hour past my usual "bedtime", I can try to stay awake, but I'm in such a daze, I can't think straight. I wouldn't trust myself to stay awake for 48 hours. I would probably do some crazy stuff
