Would you listen to foreign music?

My girlfriend, she only listens to songs that speaks her language. I meant she must understand the lyrics, other than that, she rejected other music.
For me, I won't mind to listen to foreign songs, music; Such as Arabic, Indian, Latin, Spanish, Japanese etc........ As long as they got the good music in it. I only appreaciate the art of music. Why not try something different, to experience other cultures?

Yes I would agree music is a great way to experience other cultures. Music is universal and know no boundaries and is a great communication tool.
I enjoy all kinds of music form all over the world and it I have found some very exciting bands from all over the globe.
Even though you might not understand the lyrics, we can always appreaciate the art as you say

Aside from english and the music from our country, I also listen to Japanese songs, though they are mostly anime and even though I don't understand the lyrics, similar to what you have mentions, 'as long as they got the good music in it'
And recently, I have been listening to Korean music or K-Pop as others would refer to it. (^_^ )
