Do you think butchs, studs, tomboy, and just all lesbians that dress and act the role of a man. Do you think they need to make the first move? that the "manlier" lesbian needs to be the one to ask them out? or do you think femmies can be the one to ask you out?

I think either one can ask the other out. Plus in a lot of relationships neither is really more of a man than the other. I've always been the one asked out, I'm too shy to ask a girl out. Maybe someday though.

wow sum people wuld say so but im a stud and sometimes feminine girls approach me and sometimes girls do expect the more masculine one to take control but my thing is if u want it than go for it, it doesnt matter who makes the first move cuz if both of u are sitting there waiting no one will do it so i say it doesnt matter

butch or femme, its all labels. as long as there is attraction between persons it shouldnt matter who makes first move.

Not to my knowledge. I've known many lesbians in my life and they were liberated enough that they didn't require roles chauvenism. I used to "date" a lesbian for barhopping purposes. When we were together, neither of us got hit on. It worked out to be a very good friendship.

In present society today. Lesbian or not can make the first move. The freedom is ours to take. If you like the person then go for it. Life is too short to wait for the right timing.

I am butch and I was usually the one to ask a girl out, not because I felt that it was my job or anything but more because all of my girlfriends have been shy. I don't think it should be placed on either butch's or femmies to ask the other out, if you like someone, ask them weather your a femmie or butch.

hi same road..uh uh..what can i say?? dont really have any idea on that..but i guess if im going to relate it to normal relationships then a woman may show that she like a certain guy but of course its expected that its really the guy to act first and everything...

I think anyone can make the move. I feel like when it comes to Lesbian sexuality it is definitely a case for breaking the rules. I don't feel like there are as steadfast rules for lesbians or gay men for that matter as their are social rules for straight couples. I think it's OK for either one to make the move.

Well, the femmes can make a signal that she likes the butch/lesbian but it's expected for lesbians to make the first move..=) I came from an exclusive all girl school and I know how these things work.. All my friends have lesbian partners and that includes ME! =) My partner was the one who made the first move. She asked me out. After few dates, we became an official couple.. And now, we are still together, loving each other more as time passes by.. We spent our fourth anniversary last March 4..
