I am having a hard time applying for an EON card... Do they really require SSS or TIN? I have showed two Valid IDs already and they are still requesting for SSS and TIN, I dont have any of those cards. If you were able to get EON without showing any SSS or TIN, kindly share to me which branch did you apply? Thanks.

I applied for an EON card here in Ortigas Tektite branch last wednesday and I just showed them my PRC ID and Driver's License. What important is you should know your Tax Identification Number and your SSS number and need not to show the ID itself. Hopefully next wednesday will be the scheduled releasing of my Card.

Hi janelacson. I have an EON card, I got it last December 08' When I'm applying for that I only show 2 of my school IDs, my school ID and the other one is my library ID card. It was not that hard for me. The bank clerk who assisted me was very accommodating. Try to apply to other Union Bank branch, maybe some bank staff are more accommodating on the other branch. Now I have a verified Paypal account using my EON card. If you need more help just pm me and I'm very much willing to help. Have a nice day.

Oh really? Which branch are you applying? Here in Better Living, Paranaque branch, I only presented my driver's license and passport. That was last October 2008. I was not required to present my sss or tin. Well, good for me since I still do not have those two identification cards. You could probably try calling their customer service and inquire about it or try other branch. Well, I just hope that their policies have not changed yet. Anyway, goodluck to you Kabayan! Hope to hear good news from you soon!
