Are stockings still popular?

What do you think; do you wear, or like your partner to wear stockings?
In the UK papers a few weeks ago, they reported that stockings are no longer popular. This seems a vary curious thing, because we are selling more than ever.
We sell lots to UK and American customers, but not many to our European friends.
Is there really a trend where these wonderful items are dying out, or is it just another nonsense from the media?

I like My Partner to wear them...there's an amazing "Wow" factor with them that you just don't get with tights/pantyhose..

I just recently saw a new (To Me!) Girl group on TV in one of their videos-"The Saturdays".the theme was that of the Girls being 50's Calendar pinups come to life..Seeing them in their stockinged outfits was certainly eyecatching!

I think it is nonsense from media. Because I don't think stocking have any ojectives even in past as well.

I think wearing stocking depends on the person's taste. I'm not sure if stockings in general are still popular. But I think the black ones are. I don't wear stockings with my casual clothes but as a nursing student, I wear white stockings as part of my uniform. :)

hmmm well it all depends! if you wear it with the right outfit it will look awesome. if you wear it with something dumb then you will look like an idiot.

I think it's just nonsense from the media.
I love to wear stockings - for myself and for my partner.
I have them in lots of different colours - but my partner likes black the most!
