Fruits eaten before mealtime is better than eating them after meal. My fruit habit is practices more than 3 times a day depending on the availability. I eat more than 4 cups of mix fruits to maintain good digestion. Scientific researches say that eating fruits 15-30 minutes before meal is healthier as it aids digestion because fruit juices loosens chunky meaty meals we've eaten.

I like eating fruits very much. Usually, I eat fruit after dinner about one or two hours later. Some people say that eating fruits before meals is good for health. However, science always take you in dilemma. So I just do what I want to do. I think it's OK.

I always like to eat fruits every after meal, specially at dinner cause its more comforting to eat fruits at home than in the office. But sometimes when my favorite fruit is in front of me, I just can't wait to eat them up, then it will just spoil my appetite for a meal...hahaha...

I likes to eat fruits during the whole day. Whenever I am in good mood to eat fruits, I take fruits. I also like taking fruit salads and fruit shakes very much. I think fruits are good for health and are fresh and doesn't contains any toxics. I like to mix different fruits like oranges, pineapples, grapes, etc and chill them and eat them as fruit salads.

I think thwe best time to eat fruits is all the time, since it doesn't really upset our body in any way, people might be told by their doctors to eat an apple before the start of every meal, so that there might be a routine and the patients can intake as much apples and fruits as they possibly can.(mostly 3, since most of us have 3 meals a day) but, it's also very healthy to eat an apple at any time of the day. Natural Hygienists have known for a long time that fruit doesn’t combine well with other foods. The reason is that fruit contains simple sugars that require no digestion. Thus, they will not stay for a long time in the stomach. Other foods, such as foods rich in fat, protein and starch, will stay in the stomach for a longer period of time because they require more digestion. So if you eat fruit after a meal, the fruit sugar will stay for too long in the stomach and ferment. This is why people experience digestive trouble when eating fruit that way. They then blame that particular fruit for their trouble and claim that they are “allergic” to it. Natural Hygienists have been recommending for a long time that fruit be eaten alone with no other foods. They have also recommended eating melons alone and avoiding mixing acid fruits with sweet fruits such as bananas. These are great recommendations, but can be definitely be simplified. Many people have a difficult time eating a meal of fruit alone. They’ll eat a meal of melon and not so long after they’ll be hungry again, for the simple and obvious reason that melons are not calorie dense. Eating a small cantaloupe (200 calories) is not going to sustain you for very long. But because they have read somewhere that mixing melons with other fruits is not allowed, they’ll try to wait until the next meal to eat something else and then will often in the meantime overeat on dried fruits and nuts to compensate. The solution to this is very simple: since fruit digests so fast, it is possible to eat fruit before any other food. You can, when you are hungry, eat as much fruit as you care for. One type of fruit only would be ideal. Then wait a little bit, like 5-10 minutes, and have any other food you desire. This can be a salad, a little avocado with tomatoes, some nuts, or anything. It can be cooked food too. If you’ve been trying to follow food-combining rules without success, this new information could be very valuable to you. The same goes with mixing other fruits together. You can eat all the melon you want, and then, if you are still hungry, eat another type of fruit to satisfy your appetite. It is not necessary to eat melons alone if they are eaten before another foods. You can even have melon and then have an avocado after. The only thing that is important to remember is to have the fruit first - not after, and ideally only have one variety at a time. source:http://www.fredericpatenaude.com/fruit-article.html If you eat a piece of fruit before a meal then you are taking up space in your stomach that a higher calorie piece of food would have occupied. Eating fruit before a meal takes the curb off your appetite and makes you consume less calories overall!

I eat fruits after my meal because they serve as my dessert. Instead of eating ice cream, cake, chocolate or anything sweet for dessert, I substitute them with fruits because I find them healthier than the usual dessert.

fruit is good for healthy. However, if you do not know to eat right way, you will loose many vitamin and nutrition from fruit. Depend on kinf od fruit, you can eat before or after. Some fruit like orange or sweet fruit, you should eat them after your meal around 30 minutes. If you eat them before meal, the glucose in them will make you full.

I heard too that eating fruits before a meal is healthy but this has been my habit even before I got wind of these things. I guess because I dont ususally eat desserts and also because I'm halfway full if I eat fruits first. I also noticed that when you skipped a meal, its better to eat fruits first.

The best time to eat fruits is when your into eating fruits. Honestly even if they said that the best is when it is before meal but the problem would be how about if you dont have the luxury of eating in that time that the time you have is just alloted to eating your meal. Thus, the best time is when you feel of eating this fruit since fruits really are helpful in your body and it makes your more happy and healthy every now and then. So, eating such fruit does not require any right tme of eating it. Happy myloting then!!!! eat more fruits.

Most fruits can be eaten anytime you please. However, acid fruits should be followed by a glass of milk. Swish the milk around in your mouth to neutralize the effects of the fruit acid on your teeth.

Hi, I heard two theory about timing for eating fruits from two Celebrity. One being that we should eat fruits early in the morning as fruits are gold in the morning, silver in the afternoon and bronze at night. The second theory is that we should eat fruit one hour before regular meals or two hours after meals. However, I am not sure how truthful are the theories.

Fruits - Anytime is Fruit-Time.
Hi, Actually 'anytime is Fruit Time'. General Myth-after 2 hours of meal, fruits give maximum nutritional benefits(no scientific evidence). If overweight, taking fruits with food,as a snack in between meals have scientific reasons to reduce calorie-intake.For Geriatrics even fruits in breakfast give them optimal nutrition. =Lahiri,Kolkata,India.

The best time to eat fruit is about half and hour after a meal in case you are still a little bit hungry. But you can also have them at midday as a health snack before lunch mgraham 126
