Do you contribute towards protecting the environment in any way? Or are you a perfect menace who doesn't care about the environment? Do you think that one cannot do anything individually to save the environment? What are your methods of making an effort towards saving Mother Earth?

I am an environment friendly person. I live a simple life, I would not throw away things when are still of value, and I do not buy unless I need them. We share one earth whose resources are limited. If people continue to abuse the resources, spoil the environment, our future generations will be put in the corner to struggel in the mud. Who else but we can and should prevent some sad things from happening.

You are absolutely right! It is we who have to prevent destruction and leave a better world for our children. It is the duty of every single person to work towards saving the environment and stop wasting!

Im an environment friendly person. One can do simple deeds to save the earth. There are many means to do so like saving electricity, not littering, segregate garbage properly, disposing old cars to avoid pollution, maintaining a clean environment etcetera. These are only a few things to do. If we all cooperate our world would be a better place to live in.

I know I could and should do more for the environment. What I do is make sure not to liter, use water wisely, and conserve energy when I can. I could recycle, but frankly I am lazy about that. There are no collection bins in the complex I live in, so I would need to drive my trash to the recycle center. I don't have a place to store it until that time, and I don't want trash in my car.

I've been told by our HOA that there is a reason we don't have recycle bins in our complex. I don't remember their answer- probably because it was another line of bull they were feeding us. Anyway, I should probably look into it further one day.

The trash issue is understable and atleast you work towards the environment in other ways. Maybe you could talk to someone at the Recycling center to provide the facilities of bins outside your house.

Yep nikky im quite an environmentalist n try my part to save d environment. In fact my subject of study deals a lot with environment. I try hard to avoid plastic bags...though it may not b possible alwaz..at least i case of daily market.i alwaz make it a point use d dustbins..i have once travelled a whole bus journey carrying a plastic bag as there was no dustbin from where i got into d bus..n i knew dere was one in my stoppage..lolz..!! I never ever spit on d road..which is quite common here..but i hate it.Me n mom grows trees..flowers..my garden is really beautiful. As for pollution in d traffic.we alwz stop our engine at d signal..this apart from saving petrol also spreads less smoke which comes from d burning of petrol.N something i solely do..is i grow environment-friendly microorganisms in my lab. These things..helps in purifying air...n also r greatly valuable in d growth of some plants. well..all these things i do..may b small but i believe is not insignificant as..."a small step by u can b a large step for humanity."

one can always do something somewhere for the environment. actually, now that you mentioned it, i would now use the eco-friendly green bag i got from the supermarket. thanks. i guess, somehow i contribute to the environment in such a way that if i don't need anything i don't buy it. that means i'm not contributing to the demands of that product that very much, in common sense, uses electricity for its manufacture. am i correct? electricity use also contributes to the damage of the environment?

I am an environment friendly person. I care for our planet because I live on it. The only problem is that some people don't care what happens as long as they can live. With pollution, life span decreases. Honestly, I can't even do a single thing for the world, you know a big change. All I can do is put trashes in the proper place and all. Hehehe. Small things count right? hehe.
