Have you ever multitasking while you are driving or using your P/C? Some people just can not stop doing them no matter what, they talk on the phone, eating, putting on make up, constantly channel surfing radio station at the same time driving, or eating, watching TV, running several application at the same time surfing the net. You think it is because of talent or habit people are doing that, whether it is impulsive or just a choice some one make.

multi tasking is a way to complete certain works at the same time. while driving i don't think one must do anything else. very rarely i take calls while driving, somehow it is risky. people actually tarin themselves for multi taskig. when it becomes a prcatise the brain gets accostomed and it is not difficult anymore. most of the time i easily talk over phone and respond to emails too at the same time. eating while watching TV is regular feature for most of the people. multitasking is nothing but a brain accostumed to do a few things togther and manage time for other tasks.

in one of the biggest cities of my country, where traffic moves at 10 to 30kmph, i've often seen drivers take phone calls even though its against the rules. moms don't usually like their kids eating and watching TV; you don't taste the food that much effort has been put into preparing.

Multi-task while driving is the recipe for potential collision or accident on the road, other than that, it should be alright to multi task if you are sitting in front of your p/c, infact, many people did that with their computers, it has become a necessity to get the job done in time.

Personally I am always multi-tasking and usually will have a whole bunch of windows open on my Computer at any one time. Even when I am away from the computer I usually will leave my Computer on and the windows open waiting for the next time I can get online. I also sometimes will surf youtube to find some good music to listen too while texting or talking on the phone to someone as well.

Same here. Windows (and all OSs of today) has a multi-program, multi-tasking environment, for which i'm really glad. Just imagining the single-process (batch-processing) environment of the (really) old days is distressing. I'm glad computing has come so far.

Be able to multi-task on p/c has becoming a necessary skill for workers nowadays, as the computer operator or desk person works load increase, he/she sometimes need to be able to multi-task to get the job done in today busy business environment. And also better and more powerful computer hardware and software also allow us to do several tasks at the same time now without slowing down the other task, modern computing power can handle several resource intensive tasks with a breeze of air with today advance technical gadgets.

It is hard to know you are not multi tasking when you are sleeping, you may not know that you could be sleeping at the same time walking, or snoring or even talking, haha...
