You can grow your own vegetables without a garden - in your refrigerator!!
I am talking about sprouts. You can use all kinds of beans and even wheat and other kinds of seeds.
Sunflower sprouts taste delicious and you can use the ones you use for your mysli, as long as they are not heated.
Here is a recipe - it works for most seeds but beans are very easy to make sprouts from.
Take a cup of beans and place them in a glass (or plastic) jar and add 3 cups of water. Let the jar stand in room temperature over night.
Next day pour the water out - give it to your flowers, they will thank you - and rinse the beans.
You can grow them in room temperature if you wish but you have to rinse them often. If you place them into the refrigerator, you don“t need to rinse them - they will grow there - but a bit slower..
Here comes the greatest part
When you use a part of them for cooking or salads, the rest keeps growing and after one or two days your sprouts have grown - they will last a long time.
Try to use the wheat sprouts without cooking - you will get a lot of health benefits from them. And they taste really good..

That's a great idea, thanks. My mom really loved bean sprouts. She put them in her salad all the time & she was the one that got me started eating nuts & seeds in my salad which is awesome!!! Thanks again, Happy MyLotting!!!

Thanks for your response, glad to hear that others are eating sprouts too.
Nuts and seeds have really good oils in them as long as they are natural and not heated.
