Would you pay bills? Buy a house? Invest? How much is too much, if any?

would invest a chunk of money in mutual funds and real estate since both are down now. Of course I would clear of all the pending bills. Investing now while we are still earning is the best plan for secure future not only for yourself but also for your dependents. What about you ? You have not given any indication of your plans. What would you do?

I would definitely help my family out. Let my mom pick out a house, and help my dad with his debt. Next, I would pay off all of my student loans, and my friends loans too. I would probably also donate a large chunk to the human society or the ASPCA. Maybe both :). After that, I would just see what comes along, and help people as they need it. Thanks for asking!

If I won lottery, I will buy a car and a house. If I have a remains, I will invest it and I must donate a few number of my winning lottery money to other people who need it. Maybe to social foundation or temple. I think I must not only spend the money for myself but also to help other people around me. Because we can't live alone and we need other people for the interaction. keep post Happy myLotting...

Given the chance to win in lottery, I would continue my plans for my parents, build their dream house, invest into business and help my friends by giving them a certain amount to put up their own business LOL

I would pay off all of my family's bills (I have a small family) and take them all on a nice vacation, probably a cruise since there is something for everyone. Then I would take my grandmother on a trip through Europe as we both really like to travel and don't have many chances to do so. I would then buy a nice house for me and my grandmother. She would be completely taken care of as she has done so much for me throughout my life.

I would compute how much money will need to survive for the rest of my life and set that amount aside. I'll save it in a bank. I will get health insurance and a pension fund. Then, I will travel, travel and travel. Experience other cultures. I am not taking about luxury, five-star accommodations and first class plane tickets. I like the backpacking lifestyle and experience how the locals of that place lives. That would be fun.

I'll book a flight right away, I think to a country where I don't need to have a visa. Of course I'll bring my family and we we will stay there for 2 weeks. After that, we will go back to our country and I will inquire for a franchise of a clothing line. Then, I'll open my own shop and buy my own condominium. And of course I'll let my parents have some another vacation - at the beach probably. I'll give my family the best life that they van ever have.

If I won the lottery, I would try my best to let as few people know as possible. (In today's day and age, that might be difficult with all the media hype around this kind of thing!) I would then make sure I have enough money put away from my winnings to pay for my children's eduction, as well as my niece's and nephew's education. I would probably then want to help my sister start the business she has always wanted to, and commit a lot of time, energy and money into a charity that helps lower income individuals and families understand and plan their finances. For this, I may even want to start a new non-profit, but regardless, I would want to make sure that I am not just throwing money into different charities without heart, I would really want to have a hands-on part in the process and be able to support the charity without spreading funds between several charities. I feel like I could make a greater impact that way. And to top it all off, I would make a career switch. I am in a field that makes more money than the field I truly want to be in, and I would make sure I had enough saved for a comfortable retirement, and then switch careers to something I really enjoy, so I'm not just working for the paycheck anymore. Whew... that's a lot of things -- I hope if I win the lottery it's a big jackpot!

I don't play the lottery, but if by chance I did win on an occasional bought ticket, I would pay off all of my debt. I would invest in a house and some property with a couple lots where I could plant a garden and the kids could build a fort. I would pay my Mom's house off as well as her car. Then I would give each of my kids a little towards either a house or some education. I would definitely seek out other forms of investment after depositing some into a savings account. Whatever is left would go to my charity of choice...March of Dimes and Ronald McDonald's House.

First of all, I would give 1/3 to charity for kids(disabled and orphan). After that I want to buy an apartment in southern area for my grandpa and grandma. For the rest, I guess my best friend and I would go and further our education. Actually I bought a lottery ticket yesterday and nothing happened!

I would do alot of things if I won the lottery. I would first pay off all my parents bills and debts (if any), I would then buy my family the cars of their choice, though this would probably all be done secretly as I love to surprise my family. I would then deposit a portion into each of their bank accounts, if possible. I would buy a house with a very huge yard because I would like to either start an animal rescue or foster alot of animals in order to go to good homes. I would also love to travel with my family. I would definatly have my family and I quit our jobs. Sorry, but I would rather volunteer with something I love then do a job I hate. I would take my little nephew on a small shopping spree, so he can have a day of fun as he doesn't really understand the concept of money, but definatley the concept of toys. I would save or invest the rest. Also, depending on how much money I win, I would like to help others in need, like finding homeless good jobs or helping people with their soon-to-be foreclosed homes.

Being a girl and a major shopaholic, I would go on a shopping spree. Then I would plan a vacation for the summer after school ends. And since I'm planning on moving our this summer, I'd probably buy a house instead of renting an apartment. And most definitely, I'd also buy a new Audi and get my Volvo fixed up. :)

I think with the economy the way it is I definately wouldn't buy a house. I figure that I would use the money to pay off all of the bills, get a mini-van, go on vacation and then give some to my dad to pay his bills off. I wouldn't go above and beyond to spend on things that were in my fantasies but to make sure my kids had decent clothes to wear and shoes and new beds. It sounds like small potatoes, i know, but when you have done without for so long, it's the little things that counts.
