How powerful is the Cornelian(Aqeeq) stone??

Hi..I have just made a ring (silver) with a cornelian(Aqeeq) stone set in it (skin touch)..I heard that its a pretty powerful stone.I wanna know if this stone is really powerful..and if yes what powers does it posses?? I have also uploaded a picture from google of the stone and ring..the one which I have is pretty much like this only..any advise??
