If money grew on trees, we would just find a different means of tender. Just as in the past, people used to trade food, livestock and property, we'd find some other means of materialising wealth.

We could look at it this way: If money did grow on trees and it was available to everyone all the time, yes we would start buying things. But that would also give back to the economy, which in turn would make more money for the businesses, which, in turn would give those businesses the opportunity to grow and expand and create more jobs, more revenue, etc. So....if money grew on trees and people didn't get greedy (LOL) then it might actually help.

Lol. I appreciate you to come up with a very creative idea. This took my memmories back to my childhood days. When I was a kid of 4 or 5, I had a feeling that leaves of 'Gandharajan' (a kind of tree which has flowers with great smell, mostly found in Kerala, South India) will be soon declared as money. I mean replace money. So, I ended up collecting a lot of those leaves. Even while playing we used those leaves as money. Lol. I like to think of some crazy ideas like this sometimes. Thanks. I enjoyed it.
