Is there a relationship called stifled relationship? If this kind of relationship really exist how would you know? Are there any signs or symptoms?

What do you mean by "Stifled"? Do you mean that there is no more excitement in the relationship? Before a relationship gets to that point, you have to keep it fresh and exciting. You have to spend time together and enjoy that time that you have together. If you can't find common ground, then it usually means it's time to move on (it's over).
