Why Skinny Jeans?!?

I personally like skinny jeans because its much easier to tuck them into your boots, where as flare or other types of jeans don't tuck into boots properly. I also like wearing them because they are comfortable on me and feel and look much better on me than any others do.

I don't know why they are so IN, but i think it's nice to look at, especially on girls, they look more sexy than the usual, maybe its the way the trends evolve...

I think why they are popular is that for people who are skinny they make them look skinnier. I think they are ugly and cannot bring myself to wear them so I still wear the flares that were popular not to long ago. I think they are only flattering to people who are very skinny. If someone is heavier then skinny jeans arent going to look good. They will make them look wider around the middle. I remember when I was in high school seeing people who were older then me and thinking why don't they just buy what is in style now they look so dorky. NOW lol I know what they were thinking. When I was very young skinny jeans were in style. They were slightly different then they are now but very similar. I was glad when they went out of style because I hated them and never wanted to wear them or see anyone wearing them again. So when I saw that skinny jeans were back in style I was like oh my god this is horrible because I know that I will be viewed as one of those adults that are so out of style. I know most people my age are not wearing the skinny jeans they are sticking to what was in style when they were teens. Its kind of strange really. I think it looks gross when I see teenage guys wearing the skinny jeans.

I think they're a step in the right direction. For too long we've had these horrible trends of flare-legs and bell-bottom-style pants; it's good to see some change finally occur. I think they're cute in the "scene" (punk-ish) way - and for some reason, that's "in" right now, as are flats. This is considered to be "chic", in some strange sort of way, I guess. I'm not gonna lie, though, I wear straight-leg jeans, which are really similar to skinny jeans, and I like how they look on me. As someone else said before, it's just the natural transition that fashion has been making over the last decade or so.

I hate skinny jeans. My favorite kind of clothes are from the middle east. They are comfortable and pretty without being revealing. The length that shorts come in is way to short for my taste.
