As parents we want to feel the school bus is safe and that the school bus driver wold e aware of what the children are doing, right......yea right. My son is in Kindergarten, his first year of "school" and he is already have issues with the bus. The first time, he was accused of hitting another kid and got in trouble for that and he didn't even do it. The second time, the kids keep pulling his hat off his head and throwing it around. Nothing like giving a little boy a complex!!! After each of these incidents, I went to the bus driver the next morning, then I had a meeting with the principal......don't seem like anything was done. Then there was a third time, where my son took his very first science fair project and one of the kids put a hole in one of his baggies, then he won a free pizza for the book-it club and one of kids took it and ripped it up. Has anyone else have this problem with the school bus and the mean kids?

That is so sad and cruel. I am a pre-kindergarten teacher and see these bullying things start so early. I have a few students in my class that I know will turn into these bullies in the next few years. It's really sad. I would keep complaining. Is there any way you can drive your child to school? I wouldn't want my child on that bus anymore. I know when I was in school we had video cameras on our school bus, does your sons? Maybe they need to start taping and take a look at these videos to see what is truly going on and who is at fault and then I feel these children deserved to have their privilege of riding the bus suspended.

No, they do not have video camera's on these buses. I wish they would so they would know why some of these children act the way the do. I see them get up and walk around on the bus also, its terrible. I probably will start driving him to school and back as much as i can. It just amazes me how much a school "does not" care for their children under "their" watch.:(

They should have cameras. Most school buses have them. Its hidden behind a small mirror in the front.

I have never heard of this. You should really keep complaining though. Eventually they will do something. I always thought the bus driver does something about it. You could always find out the kids names then contact their parents. Seems kind of hard but you never know.

There have many days he would Cry because he would have to ride the bus and there was a couple weeks, I took him myself or his grandpa would take him. It tears me up inside knowing how cruel they are to him and he is a little sweetheart, I know there are times he can be rowdy but i would to if they wouldn't leave me alone. I see he sits in the front seat, so close to the bus driver?????? don't seem right. I have heard many complain about this driver and my husband and his siblings used to ride "her" bus also.
