is having n trusting friends on the net is good or bad ?

my friends i have been chatting on the net for a quite some time now n had some of my good experiences too but is it safe to exchange pictures n cell numbers, tho v have chatted n etc is it safe.............?

well it depends... for me i do make some friends online.. and we do exchange phone numbers but have not met up before.. we are just staying as one that we both can confine to when we are down... =]
