I think so. If you really love each other then age doesn't matter.

I do not mind, but it has issues. and I speak of experience so if you are embarking on a relationship with an older man/woman keep in mind that there is differences between you and him/her. They dont need to become problems, but they will come up from time to time. He/she grew up in another era than you have and that brings a long other perspectives in life just as much as the fact that he/she has been around for a while long than you have. Perceptions change with age because you have seen and experienced more. Sometimes difference are too big. this can be age or culture or any of the other things you mentioned. Then it is a problem. either solve it, or leave it. But never expect that the other person will change. And that is a misconception that lays with the older person. Perhaps he/she will expect you to change because "I am around longer and I know best".
