Stevie Wonder ruined American Idol for me last night

I was watching American Idol last night, and I was eagerly awaiting Stevie Wonder. In the middle of his medley, he shrieks, "I love you Barack Obama!" Guess Obama is a fan of American Idol. Or it could because Mr. Wonder just got an award from the White House. Either way, it's irritating that I can't even enjoy a tv show without having Obama's name uttered. Ugh!!

I was watching it too, but I don't remember him saying that. I heard American Idol", not Barak Obama". dunno, guess I'll have to go you tube it and see it again. Maybe I missed it. But neither I or my lady remember that.

He got an award at the taxpayers expense. If Obama is really wanting to help America,he can start by not throwing money away on parties and addressing the nation on TV.

What's strange is during the campaign this summer I read a story somewhere that Stevie Wonder was left sitting by himself in the back, after having sang for Obama before a speech. Michelle Obama was supposed to stay with him, because he's blind. Apparently she left, and when he got up, he crashed into a lot of stuff and fell because he wasn't familiar with his surroundings, being blind. Gee, what a nice couple.....

Gee, Barbra Streisand got an award from the White House awhile back and I don't recall hearing of her shrieking, "I love you, George Bush!"...lol! I don't find Stevie's words one bit surprising but I'm sorry it ruined the show for you. Annie

First thing I would like to know, why does Stevie Wonder support Obama politically? Second, is it apporporate for him to address his political opinion in public?

Do you have anything constructive to add? I mean, come on, do you even know what a being racist is or being a bigot? Seems you can't even spell it. None of the discussions you just added that too were racist but factual. Do you have a problem with skin color?
