I dont know if this will work but I put salt all over my carpet. I read online that salt kills fleas. I hate using chemicals so I am looking for a safe way to get rid of them. Do you think it will work?

Several years ago we rented a house. The house was literally infested with fleas. The landlord, who was a friend, suggested spraying vinegar on the carpets...supposedly to "suffocate" the fleas...it didn't work. Then she suggested the salt method...we dumped cans and cans of salt on the carpets...it didn't work. By this time I was fed up. I went to Walmart, bought about 12 flea and tick bombs and set them off in the house...2 to a room. The next day there wasn't a flea to be found. We lived there for over a year with 2 small dogs, over a dozen guinea pigs and a lizard but no fleas. It's the only thing I ever found that worked and worked well. Oh, I have never heard of it. I wonder whether the ginger powder can kill the fleas? If you have a heater at home, then turn it on and make the highest temperature for some time. I think the flea will die. I love China
