Should They sue for their bonus? I say yes because it is more than just them that will suffer if the government is successful. If the government is break contracts at will or force them to be broken we will all be in danger. For example: Big cars use more gas so the government declaires that there will be a 50% increase in the cost of Big Cars including the people that own one now and you monthly payment goes up by by 50% or more and you have no say. If the government wins a contract is meaningless, which is a basic principal of this country that contracts are binding unless agreed by both parties.

Yes they should, and they should use the planned bonuses for the failed Fannie and Freddie as exhibit A. There are several violations of the law here, including a couple of things in the Constitution as well. The really ironic part of this whole thing is that the agreement that allowed these bonuses in the first place was made by this administration.

President Obama is showing us that he is a politician who can't be bought. You can pay for him but his word is worth less than Sh!t, that has some value as fertilizer.

I do not think that you can sue the government, but i could be wrong. It was wrong of them to use bail out money for bonuses, it was their for them to get the banks running again, not line the pockets of the executives.

These men worked for $1.00 a year and a percent of what they could make or recover for the company. They made a deal and a contract was signed. It is like you signing a contract to buy a car. After you have driven the car for 3 years when the dealer comes to you and tells you that now that it is paid for they are taking it back and all the money you paid they are keeping. If the Government get away with this what is to stop them from breaking any other contract with the people of the US or between people?
