This isn't funny, and you just have to excuse me because I did laugh when I saw and read this. My grand son brought this to my attention. And I just had to share it with you all.

Chevee, I couldn't help laughing, either. How would anyone know his last wish was to stand up at his wake? It seeems bizarre, to say the least, but if there weren't weird things here and there, we'd be bored out of our minds!

Hi Chevee,
Before reading, I thought it's a joke but you are correct, it's kind unusual so sounds funny...ANyway, I am sure wherever he is, he is happy that his wish was fulfilled!

I've seen this before and I'm horrified over it because although, I do understand the guys intentions, it is a bit morbid to me. He didn't want to be remembered laying in a casket but positioning him like this is just plain gross and nightmare like. I wouldn't want anybody remembering me in this way but in all honesty, I don't know any other way other than a casket.

Wow, that's just a little creepy lol. I am glad she was able to honor her son's final wishes though. I can't say I'd do that, but it's definately unique. Namaste-Anora
