What I think About the New Dora the Explorer.

I don't think it is such a big deal. The new show is meant for pre-teens not little kids. They are still going to keep the old Dora running. Kids grow up and so should Dora.
People are also complaining about her outfit. Young tweens wear skirts and leggings. Its not like she isn't wearing leggings. And she is really cute. That bob haircut was getting a little old so I like her long flowing hair.
They also did the same thing with the Rugrats. They had a new show called Rugrats All Grown Up but no one made such a big deal.
I just wanted to get this out in the air. What do you think about this?

She is very cute. Some parents think her outfit is skimpy and revealing but I don't agree with them. Her outfit is adorable and I see nothing wrong with it.

I haven't heard of this, but I imagine it will be the same sort of thing as you mentioned about Rugrats All Grown Up - or whatever it's called. The only thing about it that bugs me is that I used to LOVE the Rugrats (when I was a kid, of course), and the Grown Up show kind of ruined it for me.

I remember when they first started All Grown up serie. I was so happy to see them as older kids but then I realized I liked them better as babies. So I can see how some parents don't want the new Dora and prefer the old one.

Hello lanlan,
I haven't really watch the new show of Dora, Actually I wasn't aware that there is a new dora the explorer show. But I agree with you, they should make a big deal of out the show because kids really grow up, and it's nice for kids to see that there favorite character is growing up also just like them. They just have to create new show for the younger batch again.
