Creativeness is needed for all self employed projects. According to a public survey, 20% of ideas of self employed projects come from hardwork and good chance, while 80% comes from ideas of self interest meeting public needs. Two examples are the sugarless food by Jeseph who suffered from disease, and the first online website founder Cluise for public transportation booking, who is a fan of travel

The ideas of self interest meeting public needs would indeed be the most succesful ones, becuse it involves the recognition of a process by going through it oneself. Then we analyse it and see how things could be made simpler and easier for others to understand. Once that happens it get easily adapted too by other people. This may be something in the internet or in the real world. The examples you have share are great and very relevant.

I think it is all of the above. You have to be able to put yourself fully into your ventures to make them work. Nothing wrong with a little luck to help you along either.

Self-interest meeting public needs simply shows that someone who wishes to succeed recognizes a need, and fulfills it. No matter how hard we work, if we're not dealing with the realities of providing a needed thing or service, we're highly likely to fail. Some people believe we can create a need, and that's where creativity rules. We see products on the market all the time for such created needs, and a very few of them actually succeed.

I think success mainly comes from self-interest. In other words, interest is most important than others. Then it comes the hardwork and chance. For most successful persons, their success and fortune are the results of their insterest adding hardwork. Suppose a person without self-interest won't get great success. If he works hard without any interest, his effeciecy is not high.

As Thomas Edison would put it "Work is 99% percperation & 1% imagination." people genarly become creative off of their interest applied to their imagination. For exampl Edison wanted a light because he was afraid of the dark. So in order to do this he found 527 ways not to make a lightbulb yet still presuded it. If it's creativity & imagination your lookinf for your imagnation & dreams. Often your thoughts will organize your self interest in your sleep.
