Will The Stock Market make me Rich?

I have invested about 600 in the stock Market. I have about 30 shares of Bank of America. I bought it at about 3.00 a share.It has jumped to 7.40. I have 22 shares of KWT, a Market Sectors Vector, which is a Solar Energy Mutual Fund made up of Solar Energy Stocks. I have 34 shares of FBR, Arlington Assets, A foreclosure mortgage company. It bought it at 1.50 and its down to 0.22. I lost over 70 dollars so far. I am expecting when and if the housing market picks up I will get ahead in this one. My most stable stock has been MOC, Command Security. i bought it at 2.15 and its hovered at about 3.00 dollars. They've just signed a lucrative contract and I expect their value to increase. ENDo, Encocare has lost. I have about 28 shares and theyve dropped. I also own two Mutual funds, TRowe Price, Science and Technology and Emerging Markets. They have remained pretty steady throughout. I bought these stocks 6 months and 3 months ago. I planned to build on them and use them for my retirement. But I will not do an automatic investment. Follow along and see if my strategy will indeed build the expected results. Will something happen to make me withdraw and stop?
