The feeling you get after you did a long run - priceless Falling asleep in the haven of a warm bed on a cold night

Waking up in the morning and laying there for a few minutes thankful that I am where I am with who I am with, watching the sun start peeping through the windows. My dogs happy faces and their prancing around as I get out of bed. Walking along the beach and picking up shells as the dogs run around in front of me. The smell of fresh coffee brewing, my grown kids calling me to tell me that they love me. My friends when we have a chance to get together and talk. The smell of brownies in the oven. The local family that has adopted my husband and myself even though we speak their language very badly. Life is so full of small pleasures, way too many to list, what is important is that we take time to appreciate them and treasure them, life can be short and we need to cherish every moment we have! Thanks for starting such a nice discussion that reminds us of how lucky we really are

the first flowers of spring - seeing crocuses, seeing a robin in early spring, crunchy fall leaves, a hug from my kids, my hubby and my mom. chocolate cake that my mom makes (its the best!) oh and hot pie from the oven served with butterscotch ice cream.

I love to see the sun shining or even the rain coming down on a nice summer's day so that the grass will be greener and smell really nice when the rain stops! I love to see my cats greet me and play with me and run to sit on my lap and talk to me because they love me so much and I love them more than anything! I love to take a walk and see the flowers blooming and the trees all covered with leaves on a nice summer's day! I just like knowing that I wake up ever day to something new and wonderful because I am alive!

Simple things matters a lot. It hits the deeper meaning of life. As long as someone in there cares for me. My heart beats faster and faster. Specially from the person i truely love. another is have a great sunny challenging day. help needy people in the community. the soft voice of my children calling me, also is one that makes me happy.

Indeed, it is life's simple pleasures make people happy most of the time. So we just need to take notice of the trivial pleasures in our life to appreciate the beauty and charm of life. I always hear some people around me complain that life is too boring and dull. That's because they don't know how to appreciate those simple pleasures happening around themselves, such as having a nice chat with friends, or just making a phone call to the person they miss or love.
