What happened to the Ferraris & the Mclarens?Just going through the development of the car? Or the other Formula 1 teams have better cars?

Dharan , I think you dont know that the race is already over & infact Button has won the race.Barrichello came second.Lewis Hamilton came third & no points for the Ferraris.Do you feel a change in the world champion this time?

nope try again hamilton did not finish as was dis-qualified guess this is the mad decisions of the FIA 4 days on to give a decision then reverse it etc etc plus button might be demoted too in a few weeks with regards to the rear diffuser in fact any driver in the top 5/6 places have the rear diffuser issue, so top 5 or so could all be dis-qualified. Complete shambles.

Yes they did make a huge mistake. At least it is the first race of the season, so it will heat up. I can't wait for the next race. I had to get up at 6 am to see it live

Ferraris & the Mclarens did a great mistake of using the soft tyres while the race started. It was too late when they changed the tyres.

With regard to the mc-laren's, hamilton before the race itself said their car is not competitive this time and not to expect much from him. There was a case about diffuser, Brawn GP, Williams and Toyota are said to be using an illegal diffuser as per to the new F1 regulations as complained by Ferrari, Renault and another team. The complained was not taken and a hearing will be there after next week's Malaysian GP. The rear diffuser Brawn GP, Toyota and Williams using are said to give an advantage of upto 0.5 seconds a lap. That was proven during the qualifying. Maybe Ferrari are developing a new diffuser to match with the other cars. Or, they might wait until the hearing that is scheduled. Even last season Massa didn't score a single point in the first 2 races, yet he was competitive and deserved to be the champion by the end of the season.

It's great to see Jenson Button on the podium again. And I think Barrichello has been lucky in the race. BrawnGP's first race and a win right away. No doubt Button and Barrichello are great drivers and good thing their cars performed well. This is just the first race though, expect to other teams to show what they've got.

Well, it was indeed an exciting race. The new rules has shortened the distance between the traditional powerful teams, like Ferrari, Mc Laren, and the medium-small teams. And there are more chances for overtaking, which makes the game more uncertain. However, I am still disappointed at Ferrari's performance. I hope they could find better situation in the next station.
