everybody knows she cooks. however, there was an old iron chef episode wherein she was chosen by mario battali as a partner versus bobby flay and giada de laurentiis. afterwards racher ray commented that she had fun although she's no chef. is she really not a chef? how on earth did she get to participate in that show?

The only reason she and Giada were on the show was because they were teamed up with an iron chef to boost ratings. Rachel Ray is a good cook. She is not a chef. There is a difference between a good cook and a chef. I am a good cook, but I am not a chef.

oh, okay...those two can really boost ratings. but it was still a good fight since rachel ray's team up with mario batalli still won and she, as an assistant, is not a chef while giada, the opponent's assistant, is.

I don't know why she even has a show at all. I can't stand her or her cheesy smile. And that eating on 40 dollars a day show is ridiculous. If she's eating on $40 a day, she's a real pig. Not to mention she's gotten a lot of flack about what she feeds her dog and she wants to kill your dog too. http://www.wwtdd.com/post.phtml?pk=16691

oh...okay. that's the problem i think with a lot of things coming up through the media. they think it's just plain nothing, you know, the things they say. like the $40 a day eating. that's a lot of money for a lot of people in a lot of countries and totally irresponsible for poor people's condition.
