fabric sheets and fabric conditioner

I use to use both then realized the same thing why they are both taking care of the problem. Then I heard that the dryer sheets are not good for the enviroment so now I only use fabric softner. Plus it saves money.

Fabric conditioner goes into the washing machine and is released at the end of the wash cycle. It makes the washing smell fragrant and feel soft. Fabric sheets go in to the tumble dryer whilst drying. They help prevent static in the clothes and are meant to give your washing a "line dried" feel to them. I think they also help the washing feel soft.
