Hooray my gift card arrived!

In a couple hours I am going to walmart. Ok, so going to walmart may not be such a big deal but I have a $50 gift card from My Points and I need all sorts of things for my apartment. Today I am getting storage containers because I still have not built any shelves or cabinets and things are just in piles everywhere. Not sure what else I will get but the storage containers are a good start.

Congraits on the giftcard I do mypoints to an evertone always say I waste my time with them but I have notice when I pass out the giftcards I earn from mypoints at xmas time noone has anything to say

LOL, kind of like that children's story where no one wanted to help plant, harvest or cook but they all wanted to eat! I haven't always been in a position to take advantage of all their offers but now that I shop online I go there first and see if I can get points back.

It's great to have sites that earn you gift cards. I myself am more timid on using these sites as I am afraid they may be scam or gathering information about you that you wouldn't want people to know. So therefore I no longer use these sites and if I do it's very rare. Even so why use them if you don't want this information out. Sorry internal rant.
I appreciate this discussion and am glad you've got $50.00 that you need.

I use to belong to mypoints, but somewhere along the line when I switched email accounts I lost touch with that site. I can't even remember how many points I had, it's been so long since I visited that site. I might just have to sign up again under that one, as I know it is a good site. Do you belong to inboxdollars or sendearnings? Those are two that I belong to and have been paid by the first one and still earning to reach payout on the second.

Congratulations on your earnings from My Points. I love that site. I have earned/redeemed 3 times so far and now saving my points till October or early November and will cash them in for a Christmas present(s) for family. At the rate I am going I should be able to get 2 - $50 gift cards, at least that is what I am aiming for. I wish I could shop through their site so I could earn more points but right now I cannot afford it. I just respond to the easy points, surveys and emails for right now. I made a few referrals and that has helped. Best of luck to you and I hope you are able to redeem your points again real soon.

Thank you ryzach; I have been a member of the My Points program for many years and in the beginning I was unable to shop and take advantage of many offers as well. It is only recently that I have been able to take advantage of some of those offers. In fact this past holiday season I didn't need to cash in my points so that is how I was able to send for this gift card to help me get better organized while I continue to work on my living space (still no kitchen and only half a bathroom).

Congrats on recieving your giftcard. I was also really happy when I recieved my first gift card a couple of years ago. I was so happy that the site was legit. My giftcard was also for walmart but it was a ten dollar gift card. I now have enough to get another giftcard but I think this time I will get a visa card or a paypal transfer.

Make sure the visa card doesn't have any fees. The paypal transfer shouldn't have a fee, but you never know. I have been too busy offline to earn anymore gift cards, but I think I have enough points for one from My Points. I may wait though, until I can get a card with a higher value.

Congrats on your mypoints gift card. I absolutely love those giftcards, I am on my 3.rd giftcard from mypoints and I usually chose Target.

I may choose Target in the future but Walmart is located closer, more convenient and has more of the stuff I buy. I have chosen Walgreens in the past and I think TJ Maxx and even Starbucks.
