Hi there, here's a good question for you...I have heaps of boxes sitting n my garage from when we moved...I haven't unpacked them as we're not unpacking everything until we move again in October...where would you start to unpack/look for things you need & repack the rest & also get rid of what you don't want to condense the amount of things you have?

When we decided to move we boxed it all up in a hurry and didnt label well. We are now taking them one box at a time. I have found that when I go through the boxes I really only need less then half of it. We have been donating, trashing, and giving away a lot of it. If it is in a box in the garage you probibly can live with out it. It might make life easier though. Just go get a box and start small.

Make a plan. For me it is better to deal with the larger ones first and then the rest~

Decide whether the item is of sentimental value, if it is keep it, if it's not can you sell it? If you can, that's more money for you. Do it by room if you can, or by who owns the item. Is it you? A spouse? Another family member? Condense the boxes as best you can and label the boxes by who owns the items within. DON'T throw items that don't belong to you into your box unless you have to keep it, or unless they ask you to keep it.
