I would hire a housekeeper or a cleaning company if I had the money! I hate house work and always have! I would live to have someone do my house work for me! Then I wouldn't have to deal with it and I would have one less thing to worry about! How about you Myloters?

I cant imagine paying someone to clean my house. I do clean house for my Mom to make ends meet and I dont mind it. It is much easier then cleaning my own house. Maybe it is just that we are scraping each and ever penny by but to me it just isnt worth it as long as I am able.

yeah i would if i would have the money. cause it is really important to have the house cleaned every day to have some one do things for me when i can do it alone. but with the crisis and it is not easy to earn money now i just do it myself. it is tough to maintain the cleanliness of our home and to do all those household for ourselves but i have no choice though.

As for me, am single and living independent. I am renting a unit good for 3 persons. Not too big, not too small. Besides, it is sufficient place for a starting couple. Since it is not that big, I am able to clean it because there is less waste. I spare 5 minutes cleaning it everyday, so that it would be easier when I geneally clean it. General cleaning is done monthly. There is this magazine where I learned the secret on how to clean fast and less time. However, if in case I will be moving into a bigger one, like my own house and I am working, I would definitely consider hiring a housekeeper.

I have been a house cleaner before, albeit it was only for one day, I have cleaned houses. I'm not sure that I would want to hire a house cleaner though, they seem to be unappreciated, and I wouldn't want to be unappreciated. Lol, well I think that I would rather clean my house myself!

My best friend owns her own cleaning business because she *loves* to clean...I know, she's sick. She cleans my parent's house once a week and they love having the help. I would like to be able to pay someone to do the chores I don't like to do but that's a luxury we don't need to spend money on. Not when it's just my husband and me now and not when I'm capable of doing it myself.

I don't think so I will be hiring somebody to clean my house. I used to have maids and but after coming to the US and having done all the work on my own I somehow don't want someone else to clean my house. It gives me lot of sense of satisfaction when I clean my own house , I have learned to manage my time properly so it hardly takes time to keep my house tidy and welcoming.

I am not sure if anyone really likes to clean. I waited so long to have a house of my own that most of the time I feel so good when the house has been cleaned. It is the getting started that is hard for me. I really have to give myself pep talks to get motivated. There were a couple of times that someone came in to clean for me. Once when I was sick and once when I was working too many hours and could not get it all done. The first time I felt guilty that I could not get up and do it myself. The second time I ran around cleaning the house so the housekeeper would not think that we were too messy. My husband did get a kick out of that one. I do enjoy the extra help but it almost feels wrong to have a complete stranger come in and do my chores.
