What is friends with benefits? What benefits that that means?! Someone kept asking me what my point of views about it. Tell me what you think about friends with benefits. :) Are you cool with it? Have you had that kind of friendship?

I'll have to admit that I was searching for a discussion such as this just to say this one thing. I remember a few years ago when I was still in school. I was friends with this girl and she was talking about being Friends with Benefits. I was disgusted at the idea, then, but not as much as I am now. Friends with Benefits to me is just a way to get laid, and have fun with friends. I really don't think that it's right as it could ruin a relationship. I don't like to judge and try not to judge people who do do this type of thinbg, but all I can say is leave that in the school days, and not drag it to later when serious relationships begin. Although I realize serious relationships can begin in high school, that's not the topic at hand. I appreciate this discussion, have a wonderful day.

For me, friends with benefits mean that your so-called friend is around because he/she just needs something from you.. but when the time comes that you're the one in need he/she makes excuses and leaves you behind.. i've had friends who were like that.. They were just around because they benefit from me.. for instance, free movies, free food, free fare, parties, etc.. yay! you know, that made me decide that i should leave them all behind and go on with my life..

Friends with benefits means that you're not dating each other, you're only friends, but you sleep together. I've never had a relationship like that and since I'm older and married, I don't anticipate being in the position of having to make that decision. It's an individual choice that some people are comfortable with and some aren't.
