Did you guys switch off the lights on saturday around 8.30PM till 9.30PM. We went out for a birthday party on saturday morning and came back around 8 PM and immediately, I made my twins' finish their dinner and we finished our dinner immediately and turned off all the lights except one in our living room and we followed the Earth Hour. Today I saw in Kron4 news that yesterday's earth hour was considered to be a success. Did you guys do that on saturday? Do you guys know that you have to do that?

No, I didn't. This is the sixth time I am saying sorry to you guys that I couldn't switch off lights because the electronic terminal which was used to switch off lights from my house was jammed!
Just kidding. I couldn't do it on that day because I was not aware of that thing. I got an email from someone on 29th March. So, I couldn't participate!

We don't get enough natural light in this apartment to be able to switch the lights off and see. We live in a basement apartment where the windows are simply underground pipes with a small grate at the top to let a bit of light in, no light at night. We're also both almost blind, and rely on light to be able to see at all. However, during the day, if no one parks in the parking spots above our windows, we get enough natural light in those windows not to have to turn the lights on, so we did Earth Hour earlier in the day.

i believe many people around the world have supported the earth hour. This is a great initiative done by people in helping the mother earth. it is thus a good move if we support the event. many people and establishments in the country supported the earth hour, the whole of city of manila is a bit dark, if i may say; but that just shows how united we all can be when it comes to caring for the place we live in.
