when did you buy your first computer?

i am not a vrey early fan of internet.i can never forget my first time went to a internet bar.on 10th,Oct,2001,almost knew nothing about internet at that time.i was so admire a girl in my class who owned a computer on 2000.i asked her to teach me how to operate on internet bar.as i am also not a major of computer, i did't buy a computer when i was a coollege student.taking about my first computer,i bought it on 2004.it's too late,is it?? when did you buy your first computer??

I had my first computer at work and I don't remember when that was unless you count the one without a display as we know it now in which case it was around 1976. My first one for home with a display was probably around sometime in the early to mid 1980s. Of course that was way before the Internet and a drive of 4 MB was big. I think I still had it when the Internet was just beginning and I was using the early type of dialup modem.

I did not actually bought my computer, my father gave me one because its my graduation gift. He bought me a new computer after graduation. My family had an old computer and I am not satisfied with its hardware specs and performance, that is why I requested my father to gave me a new computer set last 2007 as a graduation gift in college.

Well i stil remember that day, it was almost 8 years ago, i was so passionate about having a computer, now i dont know how many i had changed, currently having 2 laptops, and a XPS PC but i still prefer desktop over laptop, I love to play games on it but dont really get time to do that.

It seems like years ago now. I have the same computer, it's still working fine! Well, I do all my own maintenance and I understand something about computers thankfully. If you bought your computer in 2004, that's not that long ago and you should still be able to upgrade your computer to a certain extent. My computer is a lot older than yours and it still has upgrade capability. Good luck. Andrew

the first computer I bought was on Sept 10 2001,, that one worked good for 4 years then we had to buy another,it is a good one,,

I bought my first computer back in 1985, the year my son was born. I changed from pumping gas for a living to teaching others how to use their new computer and software.
I spent the next 20 years teaching before I quit my day job and took up residence on the internet and have been making my living online since.
