Well, you're gamer and travel alot. Buy THEM BOTH..No money? You have to select. If you play extensive games like GTA IV, COD 5, etc..You must buy a Desktop PC because in Laptop, you can't experience optimal graphics and often causes lags. If you play casual games like, Stepmania, Frets on Fire, O2Jam, Dance! Online, or MMORPG, you can buy a laptop. Because any Online games and these casual games can run smoothly on Laptop!

From my information you can get a Laptop tat runs high end games. Most of the room in a desktop pc is to cool it down so i would have thought that you could fit most of the high end componenets in a laptop

if you like to travel alot, a laptop suits you, and if you are a heavy gamer, desktop computer would be nice, cause there are some games that are not suitable to be played in the laptop because of the space they occupy, and memory it uses.. you could still play on the laptop though, but the games would be a bit lighter, not like the games like cs strike, dota, and etc

Oh, you travel a lot? well, it only means that you need a laptop for yourself.. of course, before buying a laptop you should check the specs online.. i used to have a laptop before but i sold it after two years.. now, i'm using a desktop and i love it.. it's way better than the previous one.. =)

you are of both user a gamer and a person who travels a lot. then why not then settle to a laptop since you can carry it wherever you go, i think the ASUS Ferrari Model is suited for both applications. it's specs is really awesome, try checking it out.

Since you said you will be travelling alot i guess the best bet would be a laptop. They are probably harder to build as you have less room to work with everything but you can get just a good a gaming PC on laptop as a Desktop. If you were to buy the PC the laptops would maybe cost more which you can take into account.
