And that we eat nothing else. Our friend and former roomate brought us a dozen farm fresh eggs last week. He shows up with another dozen last night. This is after my hubby had been to the store and bought a dozen. That's right 36 eggs. I have no idea what to do with them all. I am afraid they will go bad. Any ideas? How often do you eat eggs?

Hi, ersmommy1! I eat eggs every now and then. Not as much as I would like to eat them. Maybe you can offer the extra eggs to a neighbor or a close family member. Or perhaps, a friend. This happened to us too. The neighbor across the street used to bring my mil eggs from the town that she used to visit. The lady's boyfriend had a family farm and he would give her eggs to send back home. Well she would send a dozen eggs over to my mil's home. There was so much of eggs until we had no where to put it. And what made it so bad, my fil, would have already bought some, plus what the neighbor sent. So, I know how you must feel. The eggs that we had did not fit into the fridge. We had no room for it, but somehow my mil made room.

You could boil some. They make great snacks. Also have some scrambled for breakfast, egg salad sandwiches. Just a few ideas. I like to color them this time of year. Sounds crazy I know but for me they are better when they are colored. I don't know why, guess because they are so pretty lol. Have a good lotting day.

Well like others have already said, the Easter Egg hunt could be a Great idea and then you have hard boiled eggs to make deviled eggs to go with your Easter dinner. You could also make Egg salad, and scrambled eggs, etc. But that is a lot of eggs, and depending on quick you can use them up, you might want to find someone else to help eat some of these eggs as well.

They would not go to waste in this house. My kids love eggs. I could cook up 2 for each of them for breakfast at least twice maybe 3 times a week. Plus I will eat 2 of them. If I make them 3 times in one week that is 18 eggs right there. Plus my kids love hard boiled eggs. I would probably boil a dozen and have the other 6 for baking.

Ooh see I do love eggs and you have a while before they go bad. At least a week in the fridge if not a little more. Omlets in the morning are lovely. Deviled eggs are devine. Egg salad sandwiches maybe. And hey why not make a pasta salad with chopped up boiled eggs. :)

Well with easter right around the corner eggs will be a godsend. Some people use them in their potato salads, make deviled eggs,or just boil eggs to eat as a snack or to make egg salad. Here is what I found on a site.. hope it helps.
Egg cartons with the USDA grademark must display a ‘Julian date’, the date the eggs were packed. Although not required, they may also carry an expiration date beyond which the eggs should not be sold, but are still safe to eat. … Fresh shell eggs can be stored in their cartons in the refrigerator for four to five weeks beyond the … Julian date with minor loss of quality.

I do not eat eggs, but I think there are lot of things you can do with the eggs. Make eggs for breakfast a few times a week, boil eggs for eggsalad sandwiches. You can use them for baking. Easter is right around the corner, boil and dye some for an Easter egg hunt.

Wow lots of eggs! My suggestion is that you make a leche flan! I do not know if you know how to do that but you can research the internet and also view videos in youtube. That is a very delicious dessert. Also you can make egg pies or any other recipes with eggs. I wish I could have lots of eggs like yours so that I can make leche flan that is my favorite dessert because it tastes sweet.

do an easter egg hunt, if you have kids of course,
my mam gets eggs and brings them over they soon get eaten lol,
plus least you know where they have been with super market eggs you aint got a clue where they are from the conditions etc etc
I would ditch buying them from super market and just use the gifts from your friend.
