According to NewsBusters, the lights at Global Warming Alarmist guru, Al Gore's house were on during Earth Hour. I guess he's too good for his own rhetoric. http://newsbusters.org/blogs/jeff-poor/2009/03/29/report-gore-s-lights-left-media-hyped-earth-hour

Mr.AlGore came to country last year, i think, to speak about 'Global warming'.. seems 'funny' that he didnt fully participate in global event such as this.. it is as though he doesnt think that it is a good method to promote awareness or support to fight global warming..

Ted You just do not understand. He is different from the rest of us. He was probably working on a very important speech for a program to blame the flooding in Fargo ND on Global warming because if we were in the Ice Age Fargo would not have a flood problem. He is too important to follow the same rules as us, just like the Obama Cabinet.

Well, you know, he partially participated, lol. I heard he does have green energy for his house, maybe he used that as an excuse. You know, only turning off half the lights plus green energy for the rest, would equal to others turning off all lights.... Nah, just grasping for straws there. As I said before, I don't quite buy the Global Warming deal, but I do support the movement for the reason that it does create a cleaner and nicer environment to live in. And alternative and renewable energy sources should be sought out now rather than when we know for sure that depletion of our current sources is just a couple of years away. Al Gore simply has found his niche and gold mine promoting this. Hasn't he been caught not following the rules before? I don't think he quite believes in it either, but a cash cow is a cash cow.

Well; it is difficult to anticipate why Al Gore did not get much involved in the Earth Hour activities. We can only keep our fingers crossed and just make a guess as to why is this the case . May be he was busy with a lot of activities ,other than this .

Well, considering he has been caught letting the engine run on his limo while he makes speeches telling everyone else to conserve.. and also that thing about how George Bush's Crawford Texas house is more "green" than Al Gore's Tennessee home (even after Gore had it designed to be "eco friendly)... put them together, and there is no reason to make excuses for his Goreness, is there? http://www.snopes.com/politics/bush/house.asp
