Do You Have An Easter Egg Hunt?

Last year some of us got together the Saturday before Easter and had an Easter egg hunt at a local city park. We had a blast with the kids. Everyone brought a dozen of eggs filled with candy and prizes and the teenagers hid them for the smaller kids. I don't know who had more funt the little ones hunting or the teens hiding them. This year we already have several dozen eggs that have been dropped off and we are planning it this Saturday because some people go out of town for Easter weekend. Do you have a community Easter egg hunt? If not you should start one up it is great excercise for the kids and loads of fun! Happy Easter!

Yeah I don't do Easter. I used to years ago but I stopped as my son said Mom it isn't about a bunny so why do we have to do this? I looked at him and said it's fun. He told me no I don't like the candy or the eggs. I laughed and said Ok by me. So we went for a walk and had dinner. He was always a strange kid. He was like a little old man. He still is at times. You have a wonderful Easter and have fun. Your friend onlydia

I have always taken my kids to the city sponsered Easter egg hunt this year they are going to an indoor Easter egg hunt where I work that way it won't matter how cold it is or if it is raining since it will be inside. There are also going to be live bunnies to see. Of cours the Easter bunny leaves eggs at the house to hunt for too!

That does sound like alot of fun. we never did anything on that grand of a scale, but we did do a hunt in our house for the little ones. I basically did something similar. I got some plastic eggs and filled them with candy. I got enough eggs of similar colors so each kid could find like 12 eggs of their assigned colors( I did this because we had quite a large age range). The kids had a great time serching the house. They had so much fun that after they found their eggs and emptied them out they just want me to hide the eggs again and again so that they could find them.

That sounds like fun. I used to have them at my house when the kids were younger but somehow it just keeps growing now so we moved it to the park! Thanks for responding

Nahh I am really too old for that. Maybe I would do it anyway but only for a laugh not that I really would want to do it unless maybe when I have kids I will do it with them and I will be the one hiding the eggs haha and they will have to try and find them, I would make it really hard for them to find em haha.
