Yeah, I've had to cut my own hair before. I've even cut my sons...because they need to have short hair. It wasn't until just recently however that I FINALLY got the gist of doing it correctly and now my oldest son doens't feel the need or urge to wear a hat to school. *LOL*

LOL...My mom tried several times when I was younger to cut my hair. She never mastered the art. She even used cereal bowls to try and get my bangs even but it didnt' always happen. My school pictured growing up are evidence of this
Congrats to you for mastering the art of doing this to your sons. I would always run and hide when mom would say that it was time for a haircut. Matter of fact, I used to cry the whole way through it. LOL. I wish that I wasn't a girl back then so that I could wear a hat to school and cover those bad hair cuts.
No matter how mad I got at my mom I always hugged and loved her afterwards. To this day we even joke about it.

Yup, only the fringe when they grow too long over my eyes. Sometimes it's a hassle having to go to the saloon to cut the fringe, so I do it myself.

i have cut my hair for so many times. i usually do it when i'm bored and i dont like my hair anymore. or sometimes if im stressed, i would sit in front of the mirror and the most relevant thing i would do to at least make me feel some change is to cut my hair.

well, yes, just my bangs..i cut my bangs to let trim it and create a style.

yes sometime the hair stylish cut as not what i want , than i will ask them to re cut, but end up still not i want, than i go back home and re cut myself, some time i do cut myself and not going to salon too..

I have cut my own hair...ONCE. When I was a little kid. It turned out horrible.
Don't get me wrong now that I'm older I've had that one or two hairs that needed to be cut because they were caught in a hair tie or something.
I would rather pay someone with experience to cut my hair. When going to a salon I try and pick out the hairstlyist that has the best hairstyle. I'm not sure if this is the best way to go but I haven't had a HORRIBLE haircut since then. Besides the only difference between a bad hair cut and a good one is about one week. Hair grows fairly fast. Even the haircuts that I've had that aren't quite well...they have worked out in a week or two.
