teen-agers having cell phones good or bad?

i noticed that young people especially teens who has/have cellphone(s) are most of the time talking or texting(sms) on their cell phones as if they're going to die if they cannot call or text. eyes, ears and fingers on the phone, they can send as much as 100 or more messages in one day, whether important or not. do you think it hinders them from doing more important things than calling and texting?

Well the main bad thing about letting teenagers have phones is that they might tend to use a lot of money, without actually thinking about the consequences. Some parents end up having to pay a $300 mobile phone bill. Make sure you have a good day, Happy Lotting!!
