lol. you'll be surprised of much you can know about our culture. there's one belief also that my mom belives like when a person stays overnight in your home for the first time, he or she should wash the dishes for it is badluck. ahahaha!!! funny right? whenever it's me who get to spend overnight in a person's house for the first time, i really help with the dishes - out of courtesy and to appreciate the hospitality the host has given me. lol. good day to you! =)

I don't take much heed on superstitious beliefs so I don't really care if I cut my nails at night. The only reason why I don't is because my eyes are blurred especially at night and the poor light just won;t make things better.

Yes i do. Without second thoughts too. It would be more bad luck if your date saw my long creepy toenails. So it would be better if i cut them as soon as they're starting to grow long. I really don't believe much in supestition because i think it will just limit the things i can do like cut my toenails at night where it's more convenient.

Oh my God!I always do manicure and pedicure at night because that's my only free time to clean my nails. Actually I already heard that from older folks when I was still a young kid that cutting nails at night is really bad luck but I don't believe it because how come our destiny is based in just cutting nail at night!LOL!

I trim my toe nails at night and sometimes during the day. It is not bad luck to trim your toenails at night! I think bad luck is just something made up to freak people out by other people who have nothing better to do!

I don't believe in those bad luck stuffs. I cut my nails whenever I have the time to and I felt that they need cutting already. I have a busy schedule and if I don't cut them during the night that I have time to cut them then I would surely have "bad luck" in the form of ingrown toenails hehe

i remember when i was a teen my mom does not like us cutting nails at night. one time she catches we doing it and she said that it is bad to cut finger or toe nails at night. so i was asking why. she couldnt even give a logical answer. i told her so if i in the US and their night is our day.... when will i cut my finger nails. my mom just gave me a "hay naku" remark and get back to the kitchen. i mean she cant give me any reason why then there is no bad things on what i am doing. i cut my nails whenever i want wherever i am.

Is it bad luck to cut them at night, or just anytime. If you don't cut them you really will have bad luck and ruin you feet on top of it.

Hi , I heard about this belief as well. Is it just toe nails? From what I know, its that you should not cut your fingernails as well a night time. Thinking back, then the salons that provide pedicure service will have no business at night if everyone is so superstitious. However, I will only cut my nails at night if its uncomfortable and half broken.

I have been doing this since i was young... and right now... since i work during the day... the only time i can cut my daughters toenails and fingernails and my own are during night time... after taking a bath... since that is the time when nails are soft and quite easy to cut... i don't believe that doing such a thing will bring on bad luck...
