Attitude after loss of a job

I find attitude to be everything in life it allows us to succeed or can be the very pitfall of what we're trying to achieve. If you see it believe it and live it generally what you try to achieve becomes reality. Not all the time but with things within your control yes I believe this. So my fiance no more than a month ago loss his job. Something more and more people are sadly able to relate to these days. We will be married in a month and are living off of my income for the time being. At first when I realized his job loss I balled like a school girl. I was emotional and all over the place. Then it settled in and we both had a choice to make. Let this get the best of us or climb back up the mountain. We choose the climb and we havn't looked back. I feel that a lot of times when people let the bad things consume you it will only get worse. Seeing the positive in things has it's way of working out. Now I don't want you to mistake my positive nature for an excuse to ignore reality. I know reality quite well and truth is if we go through tough times so be it we will go at it hand in hand trying to get the step up. The day we give up is the day that we let this defeat us. To all those struggling with anything keep trying, when you don't' feel like trying any more try harder. Perseverance and an attitude in any bad situation can and will help. See the positive in life and always try never give up. This attitude has helped us immensely as a couple and as individuals. Feed off of eachothers energy and use it as motivation. Work as a team and try to see past the day and look at what the future possibilities are.

I must agree that attitude is very important and it does not lose its importance with the good things happening. We tend to take it for granted when good things happen to us. We should always have a positive attitude whether the event is good or bad. Nothing is permanent. Cheers!!

Thank you for your input. I too believe that we often take a lot for granted. That is something that I find this situation is teaching the both of us. How much our love for eachother and that strength is taken for granted. You never realize how much it pulls you through till you need it. All the best and thanks.
