My daughter used her potty for the first time!!

I am sooooooo proud of my daughter, she is 23 months old & ued the potty for the first time on Saturday night. After dinner & feeding the dogs, my daughter & I always have a shower...any way, after I had stripped her, she sai she wanted to do a poo so I said sit on the potty & do a poo (we have an ensuite with toilet & shower) so she sat down & did a wee before going in the shower. I am so happy as she has had the potty for a few months & I don't push her to use it but only encourage her when she wants to sit on it. She had a BIG smile on her face when I told her she was a good girl for using the potty.

Congrats to your daughter. Hopefully she will keep it up. I know my 2 year old goes back and forth with it. One week she will use it all the time and the next she wants nothing to do with it.

I'm hoping that she'll keep it up too but since she used it, she hasn't wanted to since...hopefully all in good time :) It will be soooo much better when we don't have to use daipers :)

Wow congratulations!!! Hope my son would use his potty too. We don't use diapers at daytime, only when he wants to poo. He would try to stop it as long as he could until I put on his diapers.
