Sims Site steals sim creator's things by hacking into another site

The Sims Resource owner hacked a custom creator's account on Mod The Sims 2 and deleted all the things she'd made and posted. There is a rumor that the Sims Resource has a deal with EA to get a creator's tool for meshes for the Sims 3, as they have not released one yet to the public. The fact that someone from Sims Resource would do such a thing is reprehensible and a violation of the privacy act. People's posts on the Sims 2 forum criticizing Sims Resource are being deleted. People are really, really getting angry about this.

This is the first I have heard of this. I belong to both sites and I knew something had happened to the downloads on modthesims2. Thats terrible if its true. I may be deleting myself from the sims resource.

I don't think you can delete your account, a lot of people on different forums have said that they tried, but they couldn't. Sims Resource has put up a notice on their site saying that this is all a lie, but a lot of people aren't buying it. I have seen many people's posts on Sims 2 about Sims Resource getting deleted. It isn't fair. In fact, SimMasters have been done away on the Sims 2 Forum, because the guy who owns The Sims Resource is a SimMaster himself!

This is very sad if it's true, but do you have proof that it actually happened? People tend to jump to conclusions often without proof, and then they get themselves in trouble.
