I recently had my braces removed about 2 or 3 months ago. I'm in the army national guard and I ship off for basic July 15th.
When the orthodontist removed my braces, the enamel on some of my teeth came off as well. Unfortunately I was born with really bad teeth so I already had week enamel as it is. However, he did fill them and all has been well up until now. My fillings started coming out one after the other. May be my fault, i don't know. Point is, its really concerning me that they popped out and now my teeth are unprotected. I have no health insurance and I have no money to pay for the fillings.
I guess what im asking for is to be reassured that my teeth won't fall out before I can get them taken care of by the dentists at basic.
If you have any knowledge or advice that would help I would be VERY grateful. Obviously I don't want to leave my teeth this way for too long but its looking like I won't have much of a choice.

Kudos for you for joining the Army National Guard! I have a friend who I met for the first time who is in it and he visited me during his leave while stationed in Iraq.
Now, for your problem. The only thing I could think of is getting some putty from a place like Wal Mart that you can fill your hole with...it's in the stuff for brushing your teeth and things. It's not meant to be a permanet fixture, but it should last you...I don't know. All I DO know is it's better than leaving a hole in your teeth. I did that and that was very bad.
Good luck and *hugs!!!*
