is live in relationship acceptable in India?

i live in Bangalore and i have seen a some students or working people far away from home are in live in relationship.I can clearly say that they are fearless as they live far away from home,parents,relatives.But what will be their fate when they move out of college or from this job to other,i mean if they have to move away what will be future of this live in relationship.i don't know about men but women in live in relationship,will they get married if this guy dumps them.i don't if India has changed to that extent that these women will be married if the person comes toknow the truth.

The trend is setting in.It is happening on the sly especially in big metropolitan cities like Mumbai, Delhi, and Bangalore to name a few. But offcourse you cannot expect families to come out with their acceptance. As far as the fate of the individual, it is the risk they take while getting into such a living arrangement. Not all arrangements break up. I know of few that have withstood time, distance, and family opposition and gone on to marry each other, or marry someone else. Times are changing.
