At my work, some departments are allowed to its staff to listen to the radio. While in my department, radio listening is prohibitted by our supervisor. He can listen to it in his office, but at at our floor. What about yours?

I can't exactly listen to THE radio while I'm at work but I do listen to a cd player. I am a Pre-Kindergarten teacher, so I listen to kid songs all day. :-) I actually don't mind it. There are a lot of great kid songs out there and it gives me an excuse to sing along, haha.

most everyone at work listens to some sort of music in their office, not all the time, just once in awhile. i am in the front office and we do too. we listen to either cds or christian radio stations. at the back (in the production area) they listen to classical.

I don't think we are restricted in my office, but I don't usually listen to music that other people can hear because there are 8 of us in the area so I think it would be rude. I always listen to music on websites like seeqpod.com and last.fm on my computer with headphones.

We used to listen to the radio at one of my jobs and I loved it, made it fun but now in my new job we don't and it's quite boring.
