I have made a move from WV to NJ. .and it's been quite an adjustment Just getting here..the drive was super hard. I got pulled over "3" times for driving to slow in the slow lane in the dark: :( I found out you cannot make left turns in this area unless you make a right uturn that is purpose created to make left turns..geesh. But NJ people are just as nice as wv people I am going to try to hop in to mylot once in a while Seems like many of faithful are still here..and I have noticed some noticable changes..

Welcome to West Virginia! - A photo I took when my family & I were moving from California to Virginia of the "Welcome to West Virginia" sign. It seemed really exciting at the time since were were almost done with our trip! LoL
LoL... I know exactly what you mean about those left hand turns in New Jersey littlefranciscan! That used to drive me up a wall when I'd go to visit my grandparents there years ago. You have to turn right then the road kind of loops around. I didn't like that at all... kinda confusing. It is funny how each state or town has strange little differences like that. In eastern Virginia there are a lot of side roads that parallel the main roads and I've always found them kind of dangerous to be honest. In the San Francisco area and surrounding towns there are a lot of one-way streets, so you really have to pay attention there! We lived there for two years up until last summer when we came back to Virginia. Hope you get used to those weird left-hand turns in NJ! I attached a photo below to bring back your memories of WV! :) Jill

Littlefranciscan, welcome to New Jersey. New Jersey is my home state, I live in Central New Jersey. What part of Jersey did you relocate to. What made you choose NJ. I have only been to WV once, it was at night, so I really didn't get to see much. I hope your stay in NJ will be a great experience for you.

I live in NJ but I love WV. My family and I travel to WV usually 1 or 2 times a year just to get away from it all and enjoy the beauty of West Virginia. It's a different world, and I love it. The pace is slower and the mountains, rivers and farms are beautiful.
