Will anyone be travelling to South Africa for the 2010 soccer? Have you ever been to this country before? What are your opinions of SA?

I took my toddler son to South Africa in January 2009. I wanted to go there in the summer and the weather there was warm and sunny. We flew from London to Cape Town and the flight took 12 hours. We explored Cape Town and the Garden Route. I loved seeing Table Mountain, the penguins at Boulders Beach, Camp Bay, the botanical gardens and going to on safari for a couple of hours. It was so fascinating to go on a walking tour around a poor township. I found all the people very friendly and helpful. I hope to visit lovely South Africa again in the future. I am not interested in soccer though.

I seriously can't wait until South Africa 2010. I've been waiting after the final in Berlin between my home town team Italy vs. France. I certainly hope Italy will repeat with a win again in South Africa. I really wish I could've been there but I don't have enough money to get there. I would like to visit this country one day in the future.
